AB Communication Program of CEAS: From a Pioneer’s POV

As a member of the AB Communication Program of CEAS, I have a lot of acquired memories on how my journey goes.
Pioneer is the term you could best use to describe the AB Communication Program of CEAS at National University Manila. Quite frankly, pioneer is also the term suitable for our batch, AB Communication majors of CEAS, as first timers of having online classes during a lockdown, in the middle of a global pandemic. And honestly, I must admit that this term, pioneer, somehow also pertains to me. So, here’s a more personal look on how I see the CEAS’ Communication Program through my lens.
You see, looking back three years ago, I wouldn’t even thought of being in the position where I was now. Communication major? That’s not even included in my vocabulary. Like what I stated on my previous article a.k.a. random ramblings, I had a different dream back them. Not all similar to what I pursued three years ago. Because flashback to three year ago, incoming freshman college Judea decided to take a shot at pursuing AB Communication at National University. And now, I can say that it was, and still is the best decision I made. What’s in store for you when you decide to take up AB Communication? Well, you got the best.
As a young adult who has a lot to say but sometimes does not know how to properly express these thoughts, I was relieved and amazed that through this program, I became more enlightened on how I can appropriately convey my thoughts. I personally think that in order to survive this communication program, you must always have a say. More importantly, you must learn and now how to efficiently say those thoughts and ideas that transcends to your audience.
I am not talented with words and writing, nor am I equipped with enough creativity to shine with program. But, I am motivated, determined, and always willing to learn which is why I am still here. Contrary to what people perceive about Communication programs being general or quite easy, that was never the case for me. In fact, I was surprised with how complex and distinct this program is.
The AB Communication Program of CEAS is a complete package deal, if you try and put it into words. From the simplest courses up to the most challenging ones that they can offer, you will incessantly be practicing your skills and honing them to become better communicators. This package deal will serve as a gift and a great foundation once you set your path on the industry and reality of life.
Which is why this program is equipped with brilliant and talented professors who will guide you and impart their wisdom to foster you. They are tailored fit to continuously bring out the best in you, alongside interesting topics and ideologies that will help you master the program. My journey taking the Communication Program of CEAS was not easy-going, yet it is fulfilling and it keeps on giving.
